I've been unable to load levels that I've created. After first started a new level creation and everything seems fine, I've worked a few hours in a level but after exiting the editor my levels are not being loaded (while loading I'm getting the message "Glasses had stopped working").

This had happened with three different levels in a row.
Already tried verifying the integrity of files on steam from both the game and the engine, I've already checked the installation of the DLC data and check if the data folder was properly written on the config.xml file, tried removing read only from both folders game and the engine, but nothing seems to fix it.

Any of the game levels are being loaded fine on the editor with no issues whatsoever.

The Log files and crash dumps are here: Dropbox - LOGS

I can be providing the project and level files if need it.

Hey CLE,

I checked the crashdumps and they seem to be related to a faulty UI layout.
Two possible things I come up with off the top of my head:

1)
Do you have a "DockPanel.config" file in your "The Divinity Engine 2" folder?
(For steam default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Divinity Engine 2)
Could you try deleting that file, if you happen to have it?

2)
Are you using the world outliner layers for your custom levels? Might be a layer is corrupt or named badly. You'd have to find the placed item in your level files that's causing the crash and remove it. (remove all and gradually add items back to the folders for example).

If 1) doesn't fix it, we could try and recreate the issue here with your project and level files so you don't have to start browsing all your files by hand.

Sincerely,
Kevin

Thank you for the quick reply Kevin.

Maybe it's both, I have two monitors and I've changed the UI default layout to take advantage of the second monitor, I was using the Root template and the Resource Manager on the second monitor if that matter.

Yesterday I was trying to find out what could've caused the crash and I've created a new level with just some empty layers (A, B and C with 3 more sets of layers inside) on the world outliner, plane terrain, and a probe light, and I was able to reproduce the issue. I'm pretty sure that I was using the dual monitor layout.
I'm trying to isolate the problem.

I'm somewhat sure that I have the "DockPanel.config" file. I'll check that when I got home.
I will try your methods and see If it'll work.

Thanks again.

I was unable to reproduce the issue with some precision. I tried once creating multiple World Outliner Empty Layers with a few sections of Empty Sublayers on a basic new level and it did crash on loading it. I tried doing that a second time with another project and it worked just fine.

So I'm posting the project files here: GoogleDrive

Hi CLE,

This issue will be fixed by the next editor patch.
