If you don't have pet talk and try to talk to him, it's not doing much for a while...
If you manually attack the dog, you loose attitude but nothing happens ....for some time, until we continued to click on him for a conversation and he decided to attack...

Maybe this conversation shouldn't require pet talk considering what he is really?

He is really an animal, right? Well maybe not a normal one, but still. So you definitely have to have Pet Pal in order to at least understand what he's saying. How the conversation ends is a different matter. Maybe he'd always go hostile anyway, but hey at least now you understand why he has to go and wreck your entire team in his first turn.

I don't think you've understanded the issue properly...

I do know what happens as in my honor mode game, I do have petpal, while playing with friends online on tactician mode, nobody does for the moment...

So I do know what happens in both case...

The problem is if you do not have petpal, he just goes barking nothing understandable and the fight does not start....
You manually attack him and you loose attitude...but that's it...
My friend did attack him 5 times with a sword slash and it would just bring his armor down...
Then if you stop attacking, his armor goes back up and he still does not attack...

I think after we all tried talking to him a couple of time by spamming the chat, and then the fight started....
That's the issue...

Tbh I still don't quite get what the "issue" is. Without Pet Pal, he behaves like a normally neutral NPC, which makes sense because he actually is not a hostile-by-default enemy. He won't attack, and attacking him might not trigger a fight immediately - he just loses Attitude instead. With Pet Pal, you still have a chance to back away, but since you understand him now, you can have a proper conversation, which leads to him attacking you in the end. So why should this encounter not require Pet Pal again?

So to your definition, that "neutral hell dog" being attack multiple time will result in just loosing attitude....I suggest your try that on other npc just to see the result....
that's a ridiculous answer, the one you've giving me...

Yes, this started to get ridiculous since your second reply, but I suppose I tried again cause I was too nice. It's funny that with each of your replies I can make less and less sense of what you're trying to say.

Probably someone else who understands you better would come and make a meaningful conversation out of this. I'm just gonna move on now instead of doing something I know I'm gonna regret.
