If I'd wanted to suffer lifeless dialogue, joyless characters, and dead writing, I wouldn't be playing a RPG. I would be hitting myself on the head, repeatedly, with a blunt object.
I told you before finish the game then whine if you feel you must. You canott just barley dip in to the main storyline of a game this big and give me an educated opinion about it.
No, your bashing PS:T or not is not in question. It is, rather, your head-hit-wall attitude of "Morrowind is the best game EVAH! How can anyone contradict me?"
Is there a problem with feeling confident in what you feel is the highest quality rpg out there??
Seriously, what gives you the idea that CRPGs are superior to console RPGs? Judging by individual products -- say, FFVII as opposed to PS:T -- I'll admit that the contents of PS:T are a lot more mature than FFVII's. Why does freedom, for some odd reason, equate to greater quality?
Im hoping your joking here, but if you want me to really tell you ok here it goes.RPG=Role playing game and console rpg,s are very limited in charechter development and side quests.Lets take FF 7 for instance i loved the game to death one of my favorite. However you can play through it over and over, and all your charecters are going to end up pretty much the same.
Theres no choice of classes to be and very little in the way of side quests its straight forward, but yes still fun.I should say though from the true deffinition of roleplaying i can say with confidence ,that FF 7 even know labeled a roleplaying game is not one.Atleast not by what the definition of roleplaying really is.
I do not remember one time in final fantasy where any major decision in the game could be altered at all.Im not saying, just looking at it game to game that pcrpg,s are superior, what im saying is true roleplaying will not be found on the console nearly as much as on the pc.It takes the overall package imo, to be a roleplaying game not just a good storyline.
