Although I agree with you re: known issues for the game - we got a known issues list for the toolset without any of us asking - I'm also cognizant of the fact that development can move very fast. A known issues list could be outdated by the time they finish
compiling it, and then maintaining that list becomes its own project, which saps time away from development. (I don't think they have a community manager.)
What they could do is post a list of issues they intend to have resolved by the next patch, but again, you still wouldn't have a timeframe because chances are even they don't know when the next patch will go out. That said, maybe they should hire a community manager, but that's up to Swen.
I'd personally be more in favor of an external bug tracker a la
Daybreak's community issue tracker.
