i see your point on character developement but the point on there being many different paths to follow is incorrect.

Wrong,in a real role playing game you can have as many as 100 or more sidequests that you can complete, and you wouldnt need to complete them to beat the game. Also do you want to play the game as good or eviL??Many rpg,s you will get totally different npc reactions just for a different alignment.Ofcourse its only obvious you have to complete certain objectives, to beat a rpg like, beat boss a to get to boss b but its what you do in between boss a and boss b that determines your path.Following a path has nothing to do with completing your objectives for the game.

All rpgs have one goal which you character or characters must achive in a specific way or the gamewill not be complete.

Not true again how is having sidequests in a game make the game specific??You have the option to do alot of sidequests or not so no its not specific so thats wrong to.

So there is not many different paths to choose if you actually want to complete the game there is consequently only one.
Read above,i really dont believe im having this conversation.Ive never known anyone that claims all games are rpg,s thats ridiculous
