I was playing during the daylight savings time rollover with the steam version, cloud sync enabled. I have quicksaves nearly every minute up until 1:55 (The clocks turned back at 2:00). I went to bed around 1:45 (the second time, or 2:45 without DST). All the saves after 2:00 are missing.
I expect that this is an issue which would only happen once or twice a year, but I am still reporting so you guys can open a ticket or whatever.
