The chest at x63 y96: There's a point at the very edge of the area above it, near the camp fire, from which you can target it.


The chest at x596 y600: stand near the ladder below it. With Telekinesis 6+ you can throw the teleport pyramid up at the edge of that area.


EDIT: Also, in the "Drowning Her Sorrows" quest, she's supposed to give you the location of the compass as a reward for helping her. She doesn't care whether you have it already or not. You get to keep it.
