Hey there,

as already stated in the thread title this thread will contain spoilers on the quest Redemption – The Red Prince.

(spoilers on Red Prince Story and various other stuff)

In Chapter 6 (The Hunt for Dallis), Arx, I pursued the Red Prince's personal story questline. He's the main character in my playthrough, not just a companion. Sadly it seems I triggered a minor bug in my save which left me unsatisfied, but maybe one of you may help me a bit. I made these decisions and had these encounters:

  • Assassination attempt in Fort Joy.
  • Sharing dreams with Stingtail and Bahara, both of them survived.
  • Found the spirit of a lizard dreamer who brought me to Brahmos. I found the lizard beneath driftwood days later, so I basically skipped him?
  • Met Sadha, let her and the Red Prince have some prophecy business, thereafter swearing not to abandon her when she was about to be taken away.
  • Waylaid by House of Shadows assassins.
  • Missive from Shadow Prince received.
  • Met the Shadow Prince, said I might proceed with Sadha as he suggests.
  • Accidentally tripped when I visited the Mother Tree, resulting in a deathfog container being placed in her heart, which I had to tell the Shadow Prince immediately. *cough*
  • The Deathfog decaptivated Alexandar; but Fane did not hesitate to take the unfortunate by the forelock! Sallow Man was happy but died on hubris shortly after chatting with the Red Prince.
  • Discovered Sadha's whereabouts using the Sallow Man's mirrors.
  • Entered the Dream World in Arx, reunited with Sadha, gave her Swornbreaker and gave that cute little dragon hatchling a hug, taking it with me out of the cozy dream right into the ugly world.
  • Shadow Prince is neither amused nor a better fighter than the Red Prince.
  • Shadow Prince is not yet done with this world: His spirit lingers, yet mocks me: I can't talk to him! Neither I nor Fane.

I presume there's supposed to be some final dialogue with Shadow Prince, concluding Redemption. Maybe one of you played his Red Prince similarly but had the chance to hear and memorize what Shadow Prince had to say in the (maybe) very end? Or would the quest have gone on some further?

I'd much appreciate if someone could provide me with the lore I seem to have missed here.

Cheers!
