Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - General Is Tarquin essential to advance the game?

As the previous fellow adventurers said No,he is not essential.
I have just reached the final combat and i didnt have him with me due to the bug quest that wasnt comming on board. Since the game is not the final outcome but the journey it self, i d suggest to play his quest line as well, but its not essential for finishing the game
