Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - Bugs & Technical Problems Game Crashing when loading save

I'm 82 hours in with no mods. I click continue, the save loads to 90% then crashes to desktop. I checked my event viewer and believe this is related to VCRUNTIME140.dll
. I've tried about a dozen fixes and nothing works. It doesn't even load my old saves

Additionally, my save file is 12mb. I read somewhere that this game has trouble loading save files over 10mb.

Any help on this would be appreciated. I've put 80 hours into this game and it has become literally unplayable while every other game in my steam library works fine.
