Interesting, I look forward to seeing how progress goes. Great idea in re-using the GM maps, that will save you a lot of time. I hope you don't lose interest within a couple of months but stick with it. It will probably take you a bit longer than that, but the editor can be addicting so maybe it will hold your interest more than you thought.
