The dependency issues between Origins and GM should be fixed by the latest patch
Also, if your add-on happened to have a custom story built, it could cause conflicts. This has also been addressed in today's patch.
Translated strings, I'll have to take a look at. This should be supported. Are you adding strings for new books/notes you created yourself?
