Plants seem to regenerate now. I'm not sure if this is intended but I noticed on this patch that not just plants but many other items I had already picked up were present again. I was also able to reproduce this with saving and loading. No mods of course.
I don't think this is a desired behavior. It encourages me to go over places I've already been to grab loot a 2nd 3rd or 4th time. I kind of like the feeling of scouring an area and "completing it" by picking up everything (even 1 gold items). This sort of takes the wind out of my neurotic sails. :O
