Hey all,

I finished the game on classic and I am thinking about to go either tactician or honor mode. (completed DOS EE on it as well) Now I read about honor mode on:

Supposedly drops better loot

Can someone confirm if this is the case?

I suspect I'll never know: I often have a hard enough time in explorer mode (well, it is a Larian game), I'm going nowhere near honour mode! I guess it would be nice to reward people for their troubles, although I'm sure that there are those who would argue that honour mode loot should be rubbish to make it even more of a challenge...

Well I see hardly any other reason to play honor mode cause it has the same difficulty as tactician but only 1 save game that gets destroyed if your party dies (deathfog yikes, make sure to have a skeleton in your party) and gets auto saved if one party members dies... if that is the only difference I prefer to go tactician but if loot IS better in honor i wanna try that. Hench why i asked if anyone can clarify if the loot is better.

That information appears to be out of date. Enemies get +50% vitality on tactician, and Honor mode is just tactician but with the one save thing. I don't believe the better loot is a thing.

I am very certain that the loot in itself cannot have more buffs than on normal difficulty. There is nothing in the game files for that. Maybe the chance to get higher rarity loot or more loot in general (like a passive lucky charm).
