It looks more complicated, than it is. Attributes and skill trees got pretty dumbed down compared to the first game. All that really matters is damage aka weapons.

Not sure, what you mean with balanced team. In general a classical with physical and magical damage dealers is inferior to a focused damage setup thanks to the armor system. Pure physical setup is better than pure magical setup.

Petpal, bartering and persuasion are best used on the same character I guess, because bartering and persuasion both affect prices.

- The dwarf obviously best as a warrior.
- Ifan is good for a summoner, summoner can deal physical and magical damage and summoner affects his wolf too. Though no idea how good his wolf is.
- Not sure if elves are necessary, though they have nice benefits like freeskills and damage/AP boost.
- Fanes deathfog immunity will be surely usefull.
- Though probably better to have Red Prince and Sebille in different teams, because of their origin quest line, red prince isn't bad as warrior either because of his resistances.
- If you want to play the thieve and lockpicker, your second character should have lucky find. In that case your main character can profit of it aswell, if I'm not mistaken. Though having thievery, bartering, persuasion and lucky find on two character will be pretty much impossible.
