we just started this on pc and in the 1st town by the arena there was a merchant of some kind -- I think hilda?
I tried to buy an item, so put another item in on my side and filled in remaining gold.
she took my stuff and her item remained on her side
then I tried again and put just the amount of gold inthere and she took it and still didn't give item
