Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - Bugs & Technical Problems "A Dream Undone" achievement is currently broken

Currently I have 95/97 achievements, however "Liberator" (Sebille) and "A Dream Undone" (The Red Prince) achievements are both currently unobtainable outside of using cheats. I tried with both TRP as my main character and as a companion, and wasn't able to get "A Dream Undone" in any combination of dialogue choices between the Act 2 caravan scene and the Act 4 oasis scene.

"Liberator" has been noted as bugged in previous threads (and Larian has said they're going to fix it in the next release), but wasn't ever working (only 0.1% of players have it). However, 0.9% of players have "A Dream Undone", so it was probably working at some point.

On the exophase website, it shows most people who got "A Dream Undone" got it before October 3-5, but after October 5 the frequency of unlocks drops dramatically, which is different than the pattern of working achievements.

So I think a patch around October 3-5 made the "A Dream Undone" achievement unobtainable, but I'm not sure if Larian is aware of this bug.

After the recent patch and hotfix (v3.0.168.526 and v3.0.169.700), I got the "Liberator" achievement immediately when I loaded my file.

However, I was not able to unlock the "A Dream Undone" achievement on any of my save files. All of them were saved before the event so I could unlock it once it was fixed, but I tried on all of them (different combinations of the choice with Sadha in A2 and in A4) and was not able to get the achievement to unlock for me after killing Sadha in each save file.

I'm trying with a new profile/save file now and rushing to see if I can get it to unlock on a new file.

Hooray, I finally unlocked it!

For the record, these are the choices I made in this run (that are related to Red Prince's origin quest):

Italicized items are unchanged things, or things for which I tried both options already (didn't affect the achievement for me)

• A0 - Started an Explorer Mode game with The Red Prince in a brand new profile
• A1 - Killed the assassin on the west side of Fort Joy
• A1 - Slept with Stingtail, killed Griff
• A1 - Didn't talk to Bahara (didn't rescue Gareth or enter Amadia's Sanctuary at all)
• A2 - Didn't sleep with the lizard prostitute and have a vision of Sadha
• A2 - Talked to Ghangha in the Undertavern
• A2 - Talked to the main paladin (journal didn't update)
• A2 - Talked to the Lizard Dreamer ghost in Stonegarden
• A2 - Talked to Sadha but refused to sleep with her
• A3 - Talked to the Shadow Prince and agreed to kill Sadha
• A3 - Killed the Sallow Man and looked in the mirror to find Sadha
• A4 - Talked to Sadha and told her the Shadow Prince convinced me she was evil
• A4 - Killed Sadha (achievement unlocked at this point)

Most of the choices I had already tried both options and it didn't affect me getting the achievement at all. I think the main suspect (if it wasn't from making a new profile) is talking to the Ghost of a Lizard Dreamer in Stonegarden, since that adds a journal entry about ancient lizards being dragons.
