So many places he coiuld've gone??! silly Sometimes the problem with the forum is it's hard to tell if someone is making a joke. Let's see, so after leaving Mordus's house, how many places can I look? Exactly the ENTIRE MAP.

What about some dead magisters in Cloisterwood is supposed to tell me anything about that Lich? What's the connection? Do you understand the issue here? There is NOTHING in the quest log, and nothing in the conversation with the Lich, that gives me any clue as to what the Lich will do next, or where. I could easily have found him somewhere in the Black Pits or Bloodmoon island. So, other than randomly stumbling upon that area in Cloisterwood, there's nothing to point me that way.

Actually that puzzle is probably one of the most cleverly done riddles in the first two acts, and maybe the game. I loved solving it! Once I figured out the patterns of each button, the rest was pressing the required ones to get the desired combination. I'm not going to comment on why you couldn't solve it, but the puzzle was the highlight of that quest, until I was left clueless to the location of the Lich.

I think the quest writer just forgot to add a quest log entry.
