Containers: chests (weight 2-500), barrels (500), Sacks of grain (100), Elven cupboard (300) at the foot of Lanilor's bed, the book from the thieves' guild (5), vases / golden jugs....
Well of course. I guess I need to learn to think outside the box (or barrel, or vase, or cupboard) when considering what is or isn't a container.
I guess the clue would be that an item has weight, helloooooooo.... *ahem*.
- Opening a container in your inventory and drag and dropping items into it is not considered stealing by NPCs, so you can loot shops without waiting for merchants to turn their backs to you, wander out of sight, etc. Removing these items from the container (the first time) is considered stealing, so make sure you are alone.
Aha! Good to know! I will make full and good use of this immediately. (Or when I get home and back to the game, at any rate.)
