So the story initiative just doesn't work well in gm mode.
Major issue
GM can't adjust the order
GM can't see combat order if not possessing box's
To predictable
No surprise rounds
One person can get in combat to lock enemies while others sneak around
Fix
Scrap the system all together.
When someone triggers and encounter a roll for I initative screen comes up.
Roll d20 and add bonus initative
Npc rolls are automatic
GM gets a popup to notify them initiave has been triggered and they can check a box for enemy or player surprise round
GM can also manually trigger initiative roll
All GM to move people in the order
Show the combat order to gm even when not possessing
Even plauers not in combat must act in turn based order instead of players delaying turns to let teammates sneak around.
