So many places he coiuld've gone??! silly Sometimes the problem with the forum is it's hard to tell if someone is making a joke. Let's see, so after leaving Mordus's house, how many places can I look? Exactly the ENTIRE MAP.

What about some dead magisters in Cloisterwood is supposed to tell me anything about that Lich? What's the connection? Do you understand the issue here? There is NOTHING in the quest log, and nothing in the conversation with the Lich, that gives me any clue as to what the Lich will do next, or where. I could easily have found him somewhere in the Black Pits or Bloodmoon island. So, other than randomly stumbling upon that area in Cloisterwood, there's nothing to point me that way..

why such a hostile response? i don't think anything in my post warranted that

the magisters, if you haven't killed them yourself, only die the second the lich escapes, so putting two and two together allows you to surmise the direction he went in. at that point it's just a matter of running down the, what, 3 paths that lead out that way? you're bound to encounter him again if you exit that part of town, and there's enough to do in cloisterwood that you'll likely find him just by accident

seriously, chill out

Haha, agreed! Seriously, cloisterwood is tiny and takes about 30min to run through. You'd be hard pressed not to run into him even by casually exploring the area. This game is meant to be a little difficult, so don't get upset when they don't hold your hand through every single quest objective.
