Thank you for your answer Raze! That's a huge relief for us. I don't know any other company where the employees are as helpful as you guys when it comes to such in depth questions! You never stopped to care about your games and your community even after DOSII became more successful than anyone could have imagined. You guys combine the best parts of small indie devs and huge triple-A-companies into a perfect mix to create games which bring happiness to millions without becoming greedy with microtransactions or other nonesense which destroy the gameplay and fun of many games these days. smile

The old limit was around 64000 handles, right? Do you happen to know how much higher the new limit for handles is? I'm curious how much we can push the engine with mods. (e.g. a casino mod where a new loottable is generated each time you play and you can pick one of the items if you win gambles, which might create a few thousand extra handles in a long 100% playthrough, especially with all four playerslots filled by someone) I know that the total handles double with 64bit but the item handles are just a small part of the total handles. That means you could have easily increased the itemhandles by ten times of what they used to be because you didn't have to double the handles in other parts of the game. (as most other parts of the gameengine which don't use static handles can most likely erase and reuse handles which become obsolete)
