It seems to not occur on a fresh installation here (opening Forbidden Valley), so those crash dumps will indeed be helpful in pinning down the issue. Sounds like some material resources got corrupted. Did you uninstall and reinstall through Steam/Gog only? It's best, after uninstall, to remove the folder manually as it can sometimes leave files in that the system thinks aren't part of the original installation.
