I am currently doing the co-op campaign with my cousin and we have encountered a problem in areas that there is lots of necrofire

The only way to kill the cursed enemies effected by it is to use the ability bless, tornado or use blessed arrows/flasks to clear the necrofire and to crowd control the cursed enemies when you kill them.
Failure to do this properly results in the cursed enemies reappearing in any remaining cursed fire in the area followed by them then creating more cursed fire

The issue is that besides the ability Tornado, the other methods to clear cursed fire only cover a small area and even Tornado isn't that great due to the fact it has a 10 turn cooldown and it moves around rather sporadically and leaving small areas untouched

My suggestion is to make it so that when you craft blessed arrows/flasks using a source orb, change it so that instead of consuming the orb it can be reused allowing for more arrows/flasks to be made as currently, source orbs are somewhat rare and hard to come by and there is times we have had to leave some areas unfinished and enemies unkilled due to not being able to clear all the necrofire which is somewhat frustrating

This is just a small issue and there could be better methods to fix it, but i personally hope to see something changed in a future patch as we intend to replay the campaign again once we've finished

Which enemies are you talking about?

Sounds like you cannot beat certain enemies because of the necrofire...which I don't remember ever seeing in the game.

It's a fight in Arx. I actually thought the fight was pretty cool as it forces you to actually plan your turns and bless usage. When I did that fight I connected as much fire together as possible via rain/turn to oil/ignite/fireballs and then would bless whole swathes of necrofire at once to clear it out.

Yeah, I think everyone's aware that necrofire or the enemies' ability to easily curse everything in their path has to change sooner or later (or bless has to have its SP requirement removed). Although if you have 4 Hydrosophists then you can pretty much sit there and laugh. Actually, I sit there and sing the chorus to the song "Africa" by Toto.

it's the fight in the consulate in arx, against the cursed revenants

i just skip it every playthrough by sneaking past and using pyramids, it's not worth the grind

Of course, you are not supposed to fight those, lol.

Just sneak with somebody and use pyramids.

that's not true though, you are supposed to fight them

you have to clear the necrofire so that they don't respawn. that's the mechanic of the fight. what i remember being an issue was necrofire spawning inside of walls/floors so that they'd respawn even if you took out all the necrofire. i have no idea if this is still the case because i haven't bothered wiht it in months

I guess neither of us is correct, lol.

You may or may not kill them in the end. I always thought you shouldn't touch them.
