Don't take thievery for granted, if possible don't stop at 5. Wear gear that boosts it further. 6 will prove very important imo. Also learn how to craft lockpicks. Trust me.

Getting lockpick up to 9 then 10 then 11 with gear (in Arx) pretty much breaks the game, have over $500,000+ in gold atm....

Eh, I mostly gave up on Thievery after Act 2. Lucky Charm was keeping me bankrolled. But honestly, having a ridiculous amount of money didn't help me too much in the end because merchants weren't spawning my ideal weapons/armor, and I didn't want to use a mod to cheese that fact.

As for my best "just finished it" tips:

1) Ambidextrous is godlike if you take the time to make a good stock of powerful scrolls. I was tossing "Living on the Edge" scrolls out like candy in the final fight.

2) There's a certain merchant in the last Act who sells VERY useful tea leaves. Find this person. Put the leaves in the teapot right beside this person. Try not to wet your pants at the results.

Even if i had money i couldnt resist not to steal from everyone..Merchants.In act 4 it gives time to the tea merchant and the others to replenish their stocks.
Without those tea leaves you cant win the hardest fights in tactician anyway.Since its heavy source based fights and you have only 3 points available.
