just to be absolutely sure about the data path step, before we start looking at other possible reasons. Did you enter it manually, or set it with the file explorer?

On my end, the value is: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Divinity Original Sin 2\Data\". Just want to make sure you have the full path, with the final "\"
