Howdy,

I've been looking at class mods these past few days and found one I especially liked. From that one, 4 skills are just really "meh" to me. So I thought about changing them.

I've successfully extracted the pak and imported everything into the editor.

I went to the Stats Editor and looked for the skills...but didn't find them. Is there any specific trick to editing skills of an existing mod (for example change damage type)?

A mod that has been packaged for distribution misses several files for editing. That's also why you need to install the DLC (if you use Steam) before the editor can edit the standard game files.

The editable stats files end in ".stat" (or ".stats"). The distributed versions, which are generated from the editable ones by the editor whenever you save, end in ".txt".

If you want, you can open Public/<Mod>/Stats/Data/skills.txt (or ...Data/Generated/skills.txt, not sure where it is) and directly edit that file. Or you can create the skill you want in a temporary mod and then copy/paste the relevant entries from its skills.txt file in the downloaded/unpacked mod's skills.txt file.
