i had the same problem also.
the first time i fully reinstalled <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" />
i upgradede first the1.33 patch, and then after wards the 1.34 patch.
i went in the dark forest for the first time, and find out that everything on the map was revealed.
then i did again a full reinstall and put the 1.34 patch directely over the game.
this time it worked!
but be sure you use a saved game were the shroud.x2 wasn't created yet (not been in the darkforrest )
