I am a noob in this editor.. Managed to create a small level, a dialog and a quest status (received). Everything worked fine, but now, when I switch to game in the editor, all characters and the dummy are gone. So I created a new level, the same. In a new project everything is normal.

I think this occured when I edited the AI grid, but I am not sure. Any ideas? Thank you so much!

Which character creation script are you using? Is your mod dependent on anything?

Have you looked at your Osiris log? It may show where your characters are going and why.

I used characters from the templates and put them in the world. Then I renamed the quest giver and gave him a dialog. The mod is not dependent on anything.
By Osiris log, do you mean the message log? No errors are reported.

There should be a file called Osirislog in the same folders as your editor.
It won't make much sense to you if you're not familiar with Osiris syntax, but it may be of some use in trying to figure out what happened.
Can you check if there's any reference to the following string in it?
da072fe7-fdd5-42ae-9139-8bd4b9fca406

Did you make any changes to Story at all, like adding a character creation script?

Thank you!

Indeed, I found this string in the Osiris log. What does it mean?
Yes, I created a story and copied the script from a tutorial.

When looking for it to copy it here, I saw everything is working again. Did you update anything in the editor? I have no idea what happened wink

The interesting part was in what context the string (that's the UUID of the first character creation dummy, by the way) appeared, because I was hoping to figure out where the character went.

I'm not aware of any changes to the editor that would explain this, so keep your eyes open in case it happens again.

I see. The string is very often in the osiris log. Here is the paragraph in which it occurs the last time, so I assume this might be relevant.

(GUIDSTRING)(CHARACTERGUID)S_GLO_CharacterCreationDummy_001_da072fe7-fdd5-42ae-9139-8bd4b9fca406 ) [delete fact]
