One thing I personally would love see is an overhaul of the talents.

There is a large pool of useless/inferior talents. There are some that I would kind of like to use if improved or perhaps incorporate "secondary talents" or something. The grenade tossing talents just for one example could be combined to give the AP and range boost.

Or the one that gives food bonuses could be tweaked and made as a "secondary talent".

This would all be a buff for characters of course, but I don't know I am sure there are better ideas.

Right now there are like 5-6 talents that are must haves across the board rendering the other choices a waste of a scroll bar.

Back in November, I had some ideas for Talent changes, but I didn't finish compiling a list with specific ides to fix them, and since I didn't really play the game after November, I kinda forgot about it. It feels like it would be a little late to start work on that again.

Yeah, talents was one of the things I had a problem with in the OS2, there were barely any talents, and the new ones were not only just...bad and REALLLY REAALLLY niche, and the good talents from OS1 were actually removed. With the talents offered in OS2, you couldn't even do some certain playstyles or anything, it was very limiting.

Talents already were an issue in the first game and a kind of one of those this, they just took over from there and made it even worse.

I got around to posting the write-up I should have posted months ago on suggestions for changing Talents.

This is mostly only suggestions on changing existing Talents, not so much adding new ones, which is a different discussion.
