I purchased this game just a couple of months ago. Played it for a few hours and then began experiencing crashes. Random points... there doesn't seem to be any common ground. Sometimes they're so frequent I can't even save before I've crashed to desktop again.
Now if I want to play I have to save every 5 minutes or so, and it's getting very frustrating.
I've tried almost everything recommended in the FAQ including reboots, downgrading graphics options, updating drivers, switching display modes, running as admin, etc.
My crash logs indicate the same repeated error:
Exception Code: 0xC0000005
Exception Information: The thread tried to read from or write to a virtual address for which it does not have the appropriate access.
I'm not sure what to do about this. I'd really like to enjoy this game, but this constant crashing is pretty bad.
