We decided the easiest thing to do was to just start a new game. By now, I know all the locations in town of the magical items and books we need and when we start together from the character creation screen, we don't have any problems.
By the way, thank you all at Larian for the best game I have played solo and coop in my entire 30 years living! Can't wait to get D:OS2!
