DOS2 local coop you need two controllers.
Create two profiles with controller #1, then select the second profile with controller #2.
Start the game with controller #1. You will automatically be in split-screen mode.
To span the screen across the two monitors, try this: set the game to window mode and expand the window to the second monitor. Optionen -> Grafik -> Darstellungsmodus -> Fenstermodus. Then use the mouse to expand the window.
