I don't know what the equivalence of "hovering cursor over something" is on the PS4, but there's gotta be a way to get the tooltip to pop up, no? Then you will see the calculated values in it based on which character you're currently selecting.

It's fairly easy to stack scrolls on all party members. If everyone can use a magic scroll as effective as everyone else, that'd be on the broken side. I suspect you wouldn't really like that either, cause it removes a bit of depth from the combat.

Besides, there are already a bunch of spells that are worth stacking on everyone, like Armor of Frost, Fortify, Peace of Mind, Haste, Rain, and especially Teleport and Charm. Armor of Frost and Fortify instantly remove some annoying status effects like Stun, Bleeding, Decaying, even if you don't get much armor from them. The other have useful status effects and serve as utilities, for the purpose of crowd-controlling and handling many undesirable complications in combat; you don't need to care about magnitude scaling in their case.
