Counselor & King (trilogy set in Halruaa, and one of the best fantasy series I've read, not just one of the best FR books. Full of intriques, original plot, complex characters and a very rich setting).
Mandrake: Considering Drizzt's attitude toward female surfacers in general, I think the rusty spear'd be less painful for him. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> Plus, lady Alustriel already has a husband. Oh, there's Catti-brie... But is it just me, or are all of Salvatore's original female characters - Alustriel isn't his - bloody annoying? Danica, Catti... Guh.
