Hi, got some feedback for devs.

I've completed original DOS2 on gamepad on PC and after DE update I can't use "move to target spot" on (A) button, but can interact with objects with (A). This was feature wich I used 80% of my playtime.
Now, when I started new story, I ... FEEL the update, but this one particular feature is not very critical, but frustrating a bit.
Am I missing something or it's how it should be now?

Same thing for me too with Xbox controller. Being able to go into look mode and then click to move is helpful when you're not sure how to walk to a certain ledge, the character will walk the shortest path available even if you don't see the vines, climbable rocks etc.. Also useful for moving the characters across the map without having to manually move them the whole distance.

I know how u feel, that is relly is decreasing my fun for this unbelievable awesome rpg.
Also the amount of Infomartion u see in battles like Healtbar or Magic res, and Armour. When you move in this way of movement above an enemy or ally owered. You yourself need to look in the deatails of ally's or enemys to see debuffs, armour, magic res and healtbar. It is really "unhandy" that way.D':

But thanks to the developer for this patch, the quest overview is so mch better :D.
Something are way better like they used to be, but this is issue is for me and a friend of mine relly annoying.

I think i can say for much people, thanks for the patch, and the opportunity to even play both versions.
But plz fix this.

This is the only problem I have with the Definitive Edition. You can click to move while using a mouse but not when using Selector Mode with a controller. Selector Mode was a great way to emulate using a mouse in the original version, but removing the basic function of movement makes it pointless. Hearing that it was purposefully removed is very confusing. I'm hoping it will be patched back into the game or at least fixed with a mod.

Ok, third update hits the game and still no fix for gamepad. Larian, PLEASE bring this feature back. I want to play like I used to do, its painful to walk with just one stick.
And why this feature is still in keyboard UI but got removed from gamepad UI?

Was really up for the definitive edition, as I loved classic one (decided to start over, as i reached bloodmoon island in classic). As a gamepad player (PC version, such great work with gamepad compatibility, love it!) i find the lack of "move to" i selection mode quite a nuissance. I loved pointing the place on other side of map, pressing X to assign "move to" command and then just roll back to characters and watch them stroll through the map without my help. A really immersive way to play, and a great feature. Hence, with all the great updates the DE edition brought, I really miss this one. Hope that's a bug and not an intended change (which I wouldn't understand at all). If bug - larian, plz fix it as soon as possible! There are more like us! :)

Wrote to devs about that issue, here's the answer:
"It was a change of design, but an option will be added in a future update to enable this functionality again (no ETA yet)."

So good news is, we will have it back. Bad news is, someday.

AAAAAAND the current patch removed the issue wink you can choose it in gameplay options. Im pretty impressed how larian changes "no ETA yet" into next available patch wink More game devs like that! wink
