Hello Everyone. I'm seeking the awesome community guidance in regard of making an NPC playable. I mod my own game using the Editor but when it comes to scripting I'm a noob with almost no knowledge at all.

I wanted for example the Burning Witch to be playable and no I don't want her to be in Character Creation just say meet her near the beach statue in FortJoy talk to her and get her to join me like Ifan Or Lohse does and I wanted this mod to be an add-on instead of independent mod.

I know how to create and ADD-ON in the Editor. I know how to create a new root template from selected character. I know how to make a default dialog and assign it to the character. I know how to load FortJoy and put her near the beach statue. The biggest problem is the scripting to make her join me when I talk to her.

great video and like I said I'm not good in scripting so I copy and paste his Code for GLO_Party_Management in the Story Editor like he shows in the video but I still can't get the Witch to tag along.

by Tinkerer but I didn't understand it at all as I don't know how to assign the codes he mentioned.

I would like to mention that when I do load the add-on with the GLO_Party_Management code I get and Error (We were unable to create a working story. Your ADD-On setup might be invalid) and if I delete the GLO_Party_Management code everything gets back to normal and all my other stuff in that ADD-On works perfectly.

I know the problem is on my end because I just copy and paste ScottWorld code without any knowledge of how to set it up properly so I'm asking for your guidance or even if someone can upload a detailed video on how to make NPCs playable for Main Campaign because almost everything on Youtube is for the GM only.

I also must mention that Kevin was helping me answering questions about the scripting but I still can't get it to work.
