Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - Bugs & Technical Problems DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED?

I've been getting this error so many times, it's become absurd. I've done everything to try and get it to go away, from lowering my GPU, to updating drivers, literally everything I physically can. Nothing has worked, nothing at all. This as absolutely obnoxious. Has anyone figured out what in gods name causes this and how the hell to get it to go away? I have a GeForce GTX 1070. No other game gets this sort of error, just this one. I'm so tired from trying to fix this.

I have been having the same problem and have had no luck solving the problem. Every time I try to play DE, It freezes and I get a pop up saying there is a DirectX Error that is forcing the game to shut down. I've only had this problem recently since the new update, and I have manually updated everything I can with no change.

The above also popped up in my files and I have no idea how to fix this. I've also tried running the EOCapp.exe as an admin, reinstalled my game, unplugged any USB devices, updated both my drivers and my Windows 10 system, etc. At first the pop up was far enough apart I could enjoy the game for a short while, but now it's happening before I can even load my save file. The classic version also seems to having this problem. This is also the only game that I have this problem with. I really just want to play this game please!
