A lot of us are aware of what I believe is the same issue you're experiencing. And I do believe something is in works for it, at least I hope so. You *can* however rollback with a bit of google searching and technical mind to follow guides.

The depot for DOS2 is here, I believe. And if you follow this guide you should be able to get back to a previous version.

I've done that, but can't use my saved games, I would have to start all over again, I'd trade one issue for another. Thank you anyway.

Today (01/31) Larian released a new patch (3.6.35.8270), I've already tested with 2 players and it seems the installing bug is gone, finally!
