Do you have a save after Loshe got left behind, or do you still have one earlier during that section?
If so, please email supportdos2@larian.com with the save(s), or a Dropbox or Google drive link, etc. If you are using any mods, also include a list of those enabled and/or the modsettings.lsx from your profile folder.
Each save is a folder in the '..\Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition\PlayerProfiles\<ProfileName>\Savegames\Story' folder.
In Windows Explorer you can zip a file or folder by right clicking on it/them and selecting 'Send To | Compressed (zipped) Folder'.
A save where Beast wasn't getting bonuses from equipment would be useful, as well, if available.
One player not being able to see equipment could be a data problem. Did they try verifying local files, or was it fixed by reloading, etc?
The reward you get after asking for power depends on the mood of the Djinn; the character asking could just get hit by lightning.
