The Title is INCREDIBLY important. BGI and II are 100% linked to hte story of the Bhaalspawn that was Gorion's Ward. To legitimately be BG III, this game has to continue that story somehow. If not, call it something else.

It can be a Baldur's Gate Game, that's fine, but calling it III without a hard link, even a descendant as an npc party member or main plot character, or the ward as the lord of murder being somehow related to cause/resolution or a patron somehow... some CONSIDERABLE link is definitely required to truly be BGIII

Also... the rest of the stuff the OP said too... those are cool, though I care less about the locked isometric view. I like to be able to pull all the way up into Iso for tactical view then push into a raised 3rd person or like DoS for action viewing.



They also need to get the lore right, like Sonizorus said. The trailer released is really wrong. That's not the correct way Illithid transformations work, so they either need to fix that (disregard their video) or come up with an in story reason why the transformations are not normal and work like they do.
