I created an account, I see everyone has an avatar, I have been looking for a good 5 minutes and can't figure a way to put an avatar fir myself.

I created an account, I see everyone has an avatar, I have been looking for a good 5 minutes and can't figure a way to put an avatar fir myself. New registrations are restricted until someone manually enables them. Which I have now done, so you should be good to go.

Can you enable mine too, good lady? You should be good to go: drop-down in top right corner where your username is, "edit profile", options are near the bottom of the page.

Any chance I can get empowered to add an avatar please? Whenever I try to do it it says 'improper image' even when the right file type and size. Thanks.

It still keeps saying improper image. How annoying. Ah well, thanks anyway. Are you trying to link or upload? Uploading isn't enabled, so it might be that; and linked images have a maximum size of 120×120px and 100KB (well, the decimal sort so actually 97K), and only jpg/jpeg and png are supported; external URLs must end with one of those extensions, so URL-shorteners probably won't work.

I would like to have the ability to use an avatar image too, thanks! You should be able to add an avatar now, and use BBcode. Just make sure it's uploaded to imgur or somewhere similar, with a jpg or png extension. It indeed has to be on a site using http(s) as protocol.
