Interesting.. i think it could happen in 2 ways. When you reach a certain location, and if you have a certain connection to a deity you get certain information/ dialogue.
Option 2.. you can pray and might get some useful information about a current quest. of course cant you ask for direct help at high levels?

And shouldn't be much work either to implement such a thing, a little snippet of text basically, some guidance in very dangerous area
