Hey Guys, I'm trying mod in a bunch of Artifact weapons into the game and wanted to give them a unique Visual Effect.
For reference, I have a 2H sword with a base Dwarven Model, and Im trying to apply a Vampiric Enchant Glow that can be found in the Effect Editor onto it.
Now no matter what I do I cannot make this effect apply onto it... The only Option I have found so far is to have the weapon apply a unique status on equip, and that status applying a visual effect. Problem is with this, I cannot seem to attach it to the sword itself. I've found that some skills apply a weapon glow in the prepare FX stage by using a "____Dummy_FX:Dummy_FX_01" Effect file to achieve this, but even with exactly the same file, the effect won't apply to my weapon via status effect.

I guess that by default the game tracks weapon_boosts and if it sees a fire_boost for example attaches the Fire Visual FX and trails, but I have not found any reference to an effect file within the stats editor. Is it even possible with the stats editor to do this? Or is it only do-able through the use of Maya and actual Model editing?

If anyone has had any experience in this area, I would really appreciate the insight.

I do not know the full extent of the process but the game uses Proxy meshes to apply the standard magical glows to the weapons. the proxy mesh resources should be in the editor for you to take a look at under the mesh proxy resource category.. im assuming that you use that in allspark to make your effect then you clip the effect you make to the proper bone of the visual resource for your unique item.
