Actually, as I recall (whether this is legend or actual truth I'm not sure) Celtish men would charge into battle naked with only 'woad' to protect their dignity! Sounds kinda cold to me.

Not all of them did, however. Especially those who lived in really, really cold regions. Then they wore fur.

Maybe you would feel better if there was a semi-naked man in the game too? D2's barbarian starts off with not much more than a loincloth.
I personally hope the seraphim isn't changed. Semi-naked female warriors are simply the fantasy genre. Like it or lump it. We want to see them.

The Amazon in D2 doesn't exactly start off with conservative head-to-toe coverall and I have no problem with her. However, she doesn't moan and pant like a bad porn star in a bikini. Oh -- and there are the Twi'leks in KoTOR who dress scantily, and the female avatars can have their clothes taken off to show underwear. But again, they don't have ridiculous curves, don't make aforementioned noises, and are not forced to remain in their skivvies for any period of time. (Except for the few seconds at the beginning of the game and after a torture sequence. Then it makes sense that they'd be unarmed and stripped of their armor.)

It's a question of taste and quality. The seraphim, even clothed, still looks awful. Bad art is bad art.

Winterfox...
Well, as i female gamer - i can deal with this partial nudity of the females...it does not bother me. After all - women are nicer to look at artisitically them men anyway IMO. More curves and such. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I have no problem with nudity per se when they have a point. (What, why do you think I can read Kushiel's Dart and watch explicit movies without flinching?)
