Sorry I'm a bit late to reply. I think Raze's suggestion is probably your best option as I don't really know; my best bet is that the same images are used but post-processed but that is only a guess and should not be taken as "this is what actually happens"! Also make sure you're looking at the right file tree as the DE and original versions vary in some respects.
