What changed in the game after you loaded the patch?
In SP the only change I can see is that when my char or minion makes a kill there is a brief display which shows me the exp. Therefore I left Bellvue and Silver Creek where I then got kills with more exp. and leveled faster. Btw you do get exp for minion kills.
In MP I couldn't log on to closed internet play until I installed the patch. I believe there are changes in MP after the patch, but as I didn't play MP before the patch, or even really after the patch (except to look around) I can't comment on that.
