I am about to leave Fort Joy, so my question is: where is the recipe book that teaches you how to make the blood rose potion? I have all the ingredients but the option does not appear on my crafting page. Is there another way to make it?

Also...do you guys know if there is any good two-handed sword in Fort Joy? so far I found the one on the magister (pretty weak) and the one given by the Ice Dragon, but I was wondering if there was any other good one...

You can manually craft, without knowing the recipe. Right click one of the ingredients (or bring up the actions menu in the controller UI) and select Combine With, then add the rest of the ingredients.
