No, Womble, I had no probs with my Dark Elf or the enemies - I could kill them easily => I was just bored by the monster respawn, that's all.
Yes, I tried traps - but I liked his direct attacks more.
It's just my way of playing - I clear a map and then solve quests - and for this I wanted to have a faster transport => horse.
Well, and it got simply on my nerves - this endless trail of goblins/robbers etc. running after me. As for the quests - maybe I was unlucky and there are more interesting ones later on (later on mainly with a time limit) - but bringing object/item/person from A to B constantly was just not interesting enough for me. Same for the main quest => it just didn't appeal to me.
I'm not saying the game is bad - it was simply not my kind of game keeping me glued to the screen and playing endlessly.

If I lose interest very quickly I see no point in dragging myself on in a game - you see? I kept it on my drive for 2 weeks after playing 3 days excessively - and then uninstalled it.
