What am I supposed to do in the Surrey Crypt? I'm in the room with the "it's too heavy" coffin, there's a room next to it with a big pressure plate in the middle, that when pressed closes the door and releases some smoke (seems to be harmless, I even tried to ignite it, but nothing happened). Found a walkthrough on Gamefaqs, but it's incomplete, it ends way before this quest. There are some video walkthroughs, but those aren't my cup of tea, I love reading, not watching videos on You Tube.
EDIT: haven't thought about using the "spirit" sight, the rest was trial & error (to figure out which lever to pull). But really how am I supposed to know, that I have to use that special ability to solve a puzzle like this?

I don't recall if there is an explicit hint, but it is a crypt, so looking for spirits isn't unreasonable.

Makes sense. Now I'm stuck again. This time the Blackpits. That nice succubus sent me there for a specific tablet, I've been looking for it through the whole place, found a secret passage from a house to a nearby place behind the wooden wall, killed many Magisters along the way (I guess all of them by now) and still can't find it. And I'm using the spirit vision frequently, but it doesn't seem to help here. I see only dead people (killed by me mostly), what am I missing?

Did you find the cave there? There is a magister guard and tent or two around, IIRC. The entrance inside the cave is another good place for spirit vision.

Finally found the cave, that place is a death trap. Is there a way to see those long pressure plates? My group keeps stepping on them, triggering the nearby traps, even if they spot the traps themselves. "Careful, there's a trap ahead". Yea, I know, Lohse, let's send Fane, the trap disarming specialist, to clear it. *BOOM* Everything explodes, because Fane stepped on a pressure plate, that just appeared there. Am I really supposed to move very slowly, very carefully, step by step through the whole complex? I understand that one can't be careful enough, but it will take too long to clear the caves that way. Also a way to recharge the Purging wand would be appreciated. There's a Shrieker in my way and I guess he won't be alone in that place. I remember the priestess of Amadia, Gratiana, offered to recharge the wand, but that was in the Seekers camp on the Fort Joy island. Since then, I haven't heard a word from her. Are there similar NPCs that offer these kind of services? Or can I do it myself (a Godwoken, soon-to-be-Divine should be able to do such tricks, shouldn't they)?

It should be much easier if you separate your trap specialist and get through alone, then regroup past the traps using the teleporter pyramids.
You will learn the Source Vampirism skill yourself after you complete a couple of the quests related to the source masters, and perform the ritual again in Siva's cellar. Until then, one character should be able to use sneak/invisibility to activate the waypoint, and the rest get by that way (though depending on the party formation, they may need to be careful when moving away from the waypoint, that they don't get too close; sneaking should help if that is a problem, or moving the characters separately, so they all take a safe path).

Ah, Source Vampirism works the same way? I already know that skill, but despite it having a very similar icon, I thought it's the wand's Purge, I have to use on the Shriekers (Source Vampirism has a shorter range though, I have learned it before helping the Seekers, or got it with an armor peace, or a scroll, not sure, so I had it, when facing those Shriekers before the fight with Alexandar, but couldn't reach them, until realising it's the "other purge skill" and selecting the correct one from the wand). Well, I managed to avoid the Shrieker in the cave using the teleportation gloves (I still have those since Fort Joy, although not using them much) and of course the pyramid to teleport to Fane (poor guy serves as a guinea pig of sorts). Also I was talking to the guide's spirit at the entrance, but despite what the Narrator said, I don't see any difference, I don't know the way through the whole complex, don't see the whole map, don't avoid traps automatically, don't know levitation (said something about moving through the air, disappearing in places and reappearing in others, well yes, there are some entrances, but I've found some of them prior to talking to the ghost). What have I gained then? I'm confused of what is the advantage here.
EDIT: It really works! But you still have to get very close, I just sneaked behind the Shrieker from the Waypoint (it activated along the way, when I used the gloves, I just teleported there to test it out). Good to know, that you don't have to rely on the Purge Wand so much, when dealing with Shriekers.
